Nyasha David is a gifted singer and songwriter from Gweru, Zimbabwe, whose passion for music runs in the family. He inherited his musical spirit from his father, Godfrey Dagweni, an acoustic performer who once entertained audiences in Libya and Mozambique.
His talent blossomed further when he joined the Gweru Polytechnic Band and participated in the Dreamstar Competition, which earned him the opportunity to tour and perform in China. As a Dreamstar finalist, Nyasha has won the hearts of many Zimbabweans with his soulful music. His songs, including “Marianne” and “Moyo Muti”, have made it into the Top Ten Best Songs in the country.
